Pizzas & Craft Beers in Manchester's Most Photographed Square

You'll find Ply sitting in the corner of Stephensons Square which is probably the most photographed area of the Northern Quarter, if not Manchester. You'll have seen the squares insta-famous graffiti of Hammo (the guy behind Alphabet Breweries cute cans) and Mural Life (the guy behind Manchester's Famous bee murals) gracing your social media plenty of times before we're sure!

Ply has always been a favourite place of ours to grab a cocktail or craft beer for a long time now for three reasons:

1. This place is absolutely huge so you never struggle getting a table or a booth.
2. The decor is insanely cute with pastel tables, illustrations everywhere and even a discoball looking pizza oven.
3. The craft beer selection is up there with some of Manchester's best.

The food is pretty insane too with their signature Neapolitan sourdough pizzas taking centre stage of the menu being accompanied by the best sounding small plates covering everything from lamb chops & charcuterie to tomato salads & beetroot carpaccio. If you ask us, the star dish on the menu that can't be missed is the Burrata with olive oil, rocket and a lemon dressing, the delicate creaminess of the burrata and the sharp sourness of the lemon together just can't be beaten! If pizza is your thing we'd recommend trying the portobello, a sourdough base topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, mushrooms, truffle and garlic oil - a rich combination that will have meat-eaters & vegetarians fighting over the last slice!

Ps. If you're ever looking for a space to hideaway and get some work done then Ply is that haven for you, with free wifi and coffee refills along with plenty of cosy spots.
