Coffee perfection at Grindsmith, Manchester

Grindsmith has been our go to coffee shop pretty much ever since it opened it's first location in a purpose built, Kickstarter funded, pod in Greengate Square in Manchester. There was nothing better when we lived in the city than stopping there after a ride out on the bikes to grab a coffee in the sun before the final sprint home.

It’s been a few years since then and they've now opened up two more locations, one in media city and our personal favourite, one on Deansgate. Not only do they make an extremely good cup of coffee, but sitting in the windows is an amazing place to people watch. Also the light that floods in makes for some nice photos, and we just can’t help ourselves when that happens.

Go to coffees for us, a flat white and whatever beans sound good as a Kalita Wave, since every single time we get one they absolutely nail it. On this occasion it was no different and just made all the more special as the coffee was a very nice Ethiopian Natural, Liam’s absolute favourite coffee. As ever, the flat white was silky smooth, served up in a nice little branded glass and cute brass spoon. We’re one for details, so little things like that are always appreciated.

Seriously, if your in Manchester, walk past the big coffee chains on every corner and make your way to Grindsmith, you can thank us later!
