Up close and personal at Bocca Coffee Roasters

It doesn’t matter where we go, we always have to visit the best place for coffee. Even though in Amsterdam you yield very different results when asking ‘Where’s the best coffee shop?’ we still managed to find a couple of excellent places to grab a brew, Bocca being one of them.

As with most of these places we found it down a quiet back street set a bit further back than the centre of the city. From the moment you walk in you know it’s going to be good, full of amazing coffee kit, wide open spaces, huge plants filling every corner and a whole bunch of people obsessing over making you the perfect coffee.

We pitched ourselves up at the bar, we’ll say it’s because it was the only seats but it was definitely to get the best view of them crafting our drinks. We opted for a filter coffee through a v60 and a latté, both of which were unbelievably good. Crisp, bright filter and a velvety smooth lattè made with a lovely Ethiopian bean had us both very satisfied.

If we were working and not holidaying, Bocca would of definitely been the place we'd of worked from for the day as plenty of others seemed to be doing.

If you’re coffee mad and in Amsterdam, this should 100% be on your list of places to visit.
